The Manukau Sport Fishing Club is a young, energetic club centred around Auckland’s West Coast and the Manukau Harbour. Our May–June part‑year membership is designed to give new members an easy way to get started, get involved, and get fishing before the new season begins on 1 July.

In season, the gamefishing off the West Coast can be superb. Once across the Manukau Bar (which deserves full respect), a vast and largely untapped fishery opens up. Inside the harbour, the Manukau offers excellent year‑round fishing for a wide range of species — and there’s always somewhere sheltered to fish when the bar isn’t an option.

We hold monthly meetings at 7:00pm on the first Wednesday of each month at the Titirangi RSA, South Titirangi Road, Titirangi (excluding January).

New members are always welcome. If you’re unsure about bar crossings, the club has plenty of experienced members who are happy to guide you until you’re confident tackling it on your own.
